We asked over 60 painters, illustrators, designers, writers, tattoo artists and a couple of kids to design some covers for the project. All of 300 covers are unique and handmade.
We pick the cover randomly - some of the artists are quite high-profile and we don't want their covers to end up in some dutch art collector's safe, i hope you understand.
Astrophone proudly presents Phatrax's debut album entitled "I'm Jesus Christ".
Phatrax is a young producer and DJ based in Warsaw. He is a co-founder of Flauta Collective and worked the cash register at legendary SideOne Record Store. He hosts many radio shows at Warsaw's community radio Radio Kapitał.
The 11-track album itself is a newschool experimental bass thing and is inspired by many genres Phatrax was drawn to in his musical journey - from Lebanese belly dance music, eerie electronic 80's jamaican b-side versions, gqom, and doom metal to name some.
Word from the artist:
This is a heavily sampled album. It was created between October 2019 and February 2020, with iMac mid 2011, Razer Deathadder Elite, Genesis Thor 300, Yamaha DX7, Boss DR660, Yamaha RM1X, Fender Telecaster, Squier Jazzbass and a Zoom H4N.
Thanks to: Madikoptah for all the advice and listening to my shit 24/7; Tonfa Norman for providing me with samples; Ensor for suggestions and support with mixing; Ola666 for the graphic design; Huragan for starting all this with me; Nini for driving my phat ass wherever i wanted to go; mom and dad for love and care.

The first track is a bit of an outlier, perhaps connecting back to earlier albums where jazz foundations lead the way, before going all out berserk with the beats, beats, and beats. Bass and electronics are now the mainstays over the hip-hop influenced rhythms. But the horns are still layered back in with style. I initially passed this over, but the Szlam / Ścieki tracks blew my socks off and in desperation for more, I was led back to this. I can't wait to see where Błoto go next. rvss.eel
